In the past, schools often utilized one-day trainings or in-service days to provide technology training for teachers. Such abbreviated training usually resulted in "use it or lose it." In this session we will explore one online tool, www.techinedonline.com, to overcome these issues and provide long-term sustained professional development. Through collaborative efforts to integrate technology into the curriculum the website will demonstrate collaborative 5th grade science, 6th grade SS, 7th grade LA, and 7th & 8th grade G&T teachers. Models of collaborative tools will include: Wikis, moodle, podcasting, video-editing and using Macromedia Contribute.
