General Information for Exhibitors
Information on items to be included in the conference totebags that participants will receive. Items may be brought to Georgian Court on Monday between 5 and 7 pm or shipped ahead of time (to arrive on or after October 1) to the Office of Conferences and Special Events at Georgian Court University. Directions to the Conference Georgian Court University is located at 900 Lakewood Ave., Lakewood NJ. The University posts slightly different directions on their Web site at: http://www.georgian.edu/aboutgcc/directions.htm The main exhibit hall is the building known as the Casino. The location of the Casino is indicated on the campus map at http://www.georgian.edu/virtual_tour/campus_map.htm The University recommends two hotels within the area. You may mention that you are attending a conference at Georgian Court University to receive a discounted corporate rate. The choices are: 1) The Ramada Inn, located on Route 9 at Route 70, 10
minutes or 4.18 miles south of the university. 2) The Best Western Leisure Inn, located on Route 70,
13 minutes or 6.6 miles from the university. Set-Up and Tear-Down Times Set-Up - Monday, October 13, 2008 between the hours of 5 - 7 pm and Tuesday, October 14, 2008 between the hours of 6:30 and 8 am. All exhibits must be set up by 8 am on Tuesday for the start of the conference. Tear-Down - While exhibitors are encouraged to keep their displays up throughout the conference on Tuesday, exhibits may be taken down after lunch if a lack of traffic in the exhibit hall warrants this. Exhibit Area Tables are supplied by the University and are 6 to 8 feet in length. Exhibitors are expected to supply their own tablecloths. Exhibitor registration includes badges. Exhibitors are allowed to sell items at their booths if they wish to do so. If your exhibit will include any items for sale, please include this information on your registration form where requested. All exhibit tables will be in the Casino - Exhibit Area Layout (24 KB PDF document) Exhibitor Presentations Exhibitors are welcome to present a workshop session provided the presentation is not product specific.
