In June, NJASL (NJ Association of School Librarians) reached out to NJAET with the goal of presenting more technology-related workshops at their fall conference. It seems like a perfect match so we have accepted their offer to partner with them rather than holding a separate NJAET conference.

Therefore, in October we will be partnering with NJASL to be part of their 2014 conference “Taking Charge of Your Destiny” (www.njasl.org/FallConf) at the beautiful Ocean Place Resort and Spa, Long Branch, NJ on Sunday, October 26 and Monday, October 27, 2014. NJAET members, presenters and vendors should log on to the NJASL conference website for further information. Don't forget to check out the extras that will be offered at this conference such as the Mad Hatter Tea Workshop and the Bonfire on the Beach (additional charge for these and some other special events.)

NJAET will have a booth in the exhibitor hall where conference participants can obtain information and interact with NJAET Board members. NJAET members will pay the same registration fee as NJASL members.

We hope you are as excited about this change as we are. We'll keep you informed as additional information is confirmed. We anticipate a few hiccups along the way but we are treating this year as a ‘trial year’ and will evaluate this arrangement after the conference. Feedback from members will be most welcome.
