Ed Tech Bits-2014-10-03

The revised 2014 Technology Standard was approved / adopted by the NJ State Board of Education on Oct. 1, 2014 and implementation of this standard for schools across New Jersey begins with the 2015-16 school year.

The link to the new standard is available at http://www.nj.gov/education/cccs/2014/tech/ .   Check in on the Education web page towards November to see PD being offered on the new standard. If professional development  bcomes available prior to that I’ll send out an update.  Your curriculum needs to be updated as there definitely are changes to the standard. Technological literacy will use Standard 8 as its baseline for student achievement.
