"Technology will never replace the value of a great teacher. It will, however, shape how we define great teaching" (Administrator, Missouri).

The Computer Science Department at Princeton University is proud to announce a free, week-long summer professional development opportunity for computer science teachers whose college degrees are in something other than computer science. Come preview some advanced topics in CS!

Using materials developed for Princeton's introductory courses, participating teachers will learn more about data structures, runtime analysis, computer architecture, machine language programming, and a variety of topics in computer science theory. The workshop will also feature guest lectures by leading faculty, sharing their latest research findings in areas from security and privacy to algorithms and analysis.

This workshop will take place in Princeton, New Jersey from August 1st through the 5th. Participants will receive free on-campus housing, free breakfasts and lunches, travel expense reimbursements of up to $50 round trip, and a stipend of $500 to support their attendance. For more information please visit our website:  http://advanced-topics.cs.princeton.edu/  If you have any questions about the program, please emaildan.leyzberg@princeton.edu<mailto:dan.leyzberg@princeton.edu>.
