Remember the shoemaker's kids, the ones who had no shoes? It's not exactly the same, but this is similar. How could we forget to include information on the annual conference put on by our sister organization, NJECC in previous issues of NJAET News? That omission is the reason for this special issue. Read about the conference below.

The 21st Annual NJ Educational Computing Cooperative Conference, co-Sponsored with the NJ Department of Education and Montclair State University will be held on March 2007 at Montclair State University. The theme of the conference is Technology Challenges - 2007 -- New Software, New Computers, New Assistive Devices, and 1:1 Initiatives.

Keynote Speaker for the conference is the internationally recognized educator, speaker and consultant, Gary Stager, PhD. Onsite registration for the conference is $105 for NJECC members and $120 for non-members.

Post-conference workshops will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 and Thursday, March 15, 2007. Fees for these workshops are $85 per 2.5 hour hands-on workshop for NJECC members and $100 per workshop for non-members. There is also a $10 late fee for Tuesday on-site registrants. • The Call for Presenters for the 2007 Annual Fall Conference, Creating e-Magic (Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey) is now open and potential presenters can fill out an Online Presenter Sign-up Form on the NJAET Website.
  
  
• The deadline for nominating someone for Technologist of the Year is April 1, 2007. The Technologist of the Year Flyer for the 2007 awards program is available on the NJAET Website in PDF format.
