Fall Conference Update

Creating eMagic - October 9, 2007

**New** NJAET is offering a special registration for student teachers this year. Because they are special to us, we are offering student teachers a 50% discount off our advance registration fee of $100.00. If you are a student teacher and wish to attend the conference, please follow these directions which are specific to student teachers only.

  1. Submit a paper copy of the registration form for this year's conference

  2. Include your check for $50.00 (which is a 50% discount off the advance registration fee and a 60% discount off the on-site registration fee)

  3. Obtain a letter (on letterhead paper) from your school district and signed by the principal, validating that you are a student teacher in that district.

  4. Send your completed registration (registration flyer, check and validation letter) to:

or bring it with you to the conference for on-site registration.

 

All attendees who are not student teachers must register online. The link to that online registration is posted on the NJAET website or you can get to it directly at www.regonline.com/NJAET2007.

In honor and memory of NJAET founder, Dr. Ted Smorodin, five complimentary conference registrations for the 2008 NJAET Conference will be awarded at this year's conference.

We thank those who have taken advantage of NJAET's low cost advertising in the conference program and remind advertisers that NJAET offers other, online publications throughout the year.

Gail Epifanio moves to Emeritus Status

Longtime board member retires from the board

Although not a founding member of the NJAET Board, Gail Epifanio is one of the early members and has contributed to the board over a long span of years. Now Gail is moving on to other endeavors and has moved to Emeritus Board Member status*. We wish you well Gail and remember your years as an active board member with gratitude and many good memories.

*NJAET Board Emeritus Members have retired from the board after serving for a minimum of five years. They are entitled to all rights and privileges of other Executive Board members with the exception of the right to vote on Board matters.
