21st Century Learning: Education 2.0

Sponsored by Kean University, November 30 & December 1, 2007

NJAET works with other organizations to let NJAET members know about conferences that the board feels will be of interest to members. The conference sponsored by Kean University later this fall is such a conference.

The flyer for this conference says, Web 2.0 has changed the way we view, create, and share information. How might it transform what and how we teach? Join our group of world class presenters and educational practitioners as we engage in two days of discussion and hands-on learning experiences!

Keynote Speaker Alan November
"Cultivating a World-Class Work Ethic"

Dear K-12 Technology Leaders,

How do we help our students build a strong work ethic and the skills to compete in an increasingly global and competitive job market? What essential skills do we, as leaders, need in order to manage change and align technology with vital goals? These are the sorts of questions I will be addressing at Technology & Learning’s Tech Forum conference on Friday, October 26.

I invite you to join me at the IBM Palisades Executive Conference Center in Rockland County, NY, for this one-day event geared especially to K-12 technology leaders and administrators. I will be delivering the opening keynote followed by a workshop on "Leadership: Managing the Transition."

With additional topics ranging from Web 2.0 Best Practices to Visual Literacy to Safety and Social Networking, Tech Forum promises to be both practical and thought provoking. It also offers many opportunities for networking with other high-powered K-12 decision-makers. I look forward to seeing you there.
