In its effort to promote educational technology, the New Jersey Association for Educational Technology (NJAET) is once again seeking nominations for its Technologist of the Year Award. We will honor an educator who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in implementing the use of technology to improve education.

The educator presented with the Technologist 2008 Award will be notified during April 2008 and will be honored at the NJAET May board meeting and again at its annual fall conference on October 14, 2008, at Georgian Court University. In addition, the recipient is expected to present at the 2008 conference.

The winner will receive:

  • A plaque symbolizing the individual's outstanding achievement.
  • Complimentary registration for the 2008 NJAET Conference.
  • A $1000 award to be used as the winner sees fit.

Nominees:

Nominees may be educators in any capacity including teachers, technicians, media specialists or administrators who have demonstrated achievement and service in implementing educational technology.

  • Fill out the form on the back of the flyer and follow the directions or complete the online form below.

Submission:

The application can be downloaded from this site and sent or faxed to the NJAET Award Committee or submitted online. It is required that all online submissions provide the nominator's phone number and email address so submission can be verified.
